In My Mailbox was created by Kristi at The Story Siren, inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie.
Library:
Dani Noir by Nova Ren Suma
Naughts & Crosses (Naughts & Crosses, #1) by Malorie Blackman
Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead
Checked out Dani Noir because I thought the cover was so cool, Naughts & Crosses because (even though it sounded really sad) the story sounded awesome, and Vampire Academy because I heard a lot of good things about it.
And this has nothing to do with books, but I also received some barcode stickers from BarcodeArt.com. I actually had no idea was going to get them. I guess I received them because I'm on the mailing list or something. The stickers are pretty cool though. If you don't know about the artist Scott Blake, he creates art using barcodes. Here's an example. Just zoom in and you'll see the barcodes. :)
OOOH Vampire Academy! I want to read that!
ReplyDeleteI need to read VA. Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteYou are going to love Vampire Academy. Mead has a way of making you even when you don't want to!
ReplyDeleteNoughts and Crosses IS really sad, but really good! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteNice books! I enjoy the Vampire Academy books. I hope you do too. I tried to convince a student to check out Naughts and Crosses on Friday but didn't have any luck. I think the cover is just a little boring. I haven't read it myself yet. I hope you enjoy your new books. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments! VA seems to be really popular. I'll need to read it after I'm done with the other book I'm currently reading. :D
ReplyDelete@prophecygirl: Aww can't wait then!
@kathy martin: Yeah, I do agree that the covers aren't interesting, but I've seen the newer covers released by Simon Pulse & they looked pretty good. :) They changed the title to the first book to Black & White though.
Vamp Academy is a fun series. Can't wait for the next installment. Enjoy your books and the stickers!
ReplyDeleteThese looks great! Happy reading! My mailbox is at The Crowded Leaf.
