Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Feel As Though Everyone Has Read But Me

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. It's a weekly meme featuring
book-related lists. This week's topic is ten books I feel as though everyone has read but me.

1. The Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine - I feel like all my GoodReads buddies have read this series. There are so many volumes...with tiny text! Eek! I really want to read them though because my GR friends always get excited for nekkid Shane.

2. Unearthly by Cynthia Hand - I've heard so many GOOD things about this book. I really really want to read it and I can get it from the library, but I want to get through the books I own and haven't read first. I hope to read it before the end of the year.

3. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak - I've had a copy since last year. It's Aussie... I should have read it by now! But I'm just too intimidated.

4. The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa - I have read the first book, but I still haven't gotten around to reading the rest. I can get them from the library, but I just have to find time for them.

5. Looking For Alaska by John Green - I've wanted to read this for awhile, but I ended up reading two other books by Green instead. I bought a copy a few months ago, and I think I'm going to wait until I'm in the right mood.

6. Delirium by Lauren Oliver - I kept seeing this book everywhere earlier this year. I'm a bit unsure because I was 'meh' about her debut, and I've seen mixed reviews on this one.

7. Across the Universe by Beth Revis - This was a book I couldn't wait to read! I don't know what happened, but I didn't get around to buying a copy. Now, I'm not sure I care enough to buy it. I'll probably get it from the library.

8. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White - This one sounds funny, and while I planned on checking it out from the library, I didn't know when I ever would. I won a copy of the second book recently, so now I'll definitely go the library sometime for this one.

9. Nightshade by Andrea Cremer - I felt like I saw this all over the place last year. It's too bad they changed the covers... The reason I haven't gotten around to it is because I have a feeling this will be a love-triangle I won't like.

10. Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick - When this came out, I really wanted to read it! I waited and waited for the library to get it, but they never did. Thankfully a friend sent me a copy...but I still haven't read it. The reviews I've read have scared me.

  1. I'm with you on The Book Thief & Looking for Alaska. The latter seem like a heart wrenching read so I'm a little scared. Lol.
