Title: The Clockwork Angel
Author: Cassandra Clare
Release Date: August 31, 2010
Publisher: Margaret K. McElderry
Summary: Magic is dangerous—but love is more dangerous still.

When sixteen-year-old Tessa Gray crosses the ocean to find her brother, her destination is England, the time is the reign of Queen Victoria, and something terrifying is waiting for her in London's Downworld, where vampires, warlocks and other supernatural folk stalk the gaslit streets. Only the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the world of demons, keep order amidst the chaos.

Kidnapped by the mysterious Dark Sisters, members of a secret organization called The Pandemonium Club, Tessa soon learns that she herself is a Downworlder with a rare ability: the power to transform, at will, into another person. What's more, the Magister, the shadowy figure who runs the Club, will stop at nothing to claim Tessa's power for his own.

Friendless and hunted, Tessa takes refuge with the Shadowhunters of the London Institute, who swear to find her brother if she will use her power to help them. She soon finds herself fascinated by—and torn between—two best friends: James, whose fragile beauty hides a deadly secret, and blue-eyed Will, whose caustic wit and volatile moods keep everyone in his life at arm's length...everyone, that is, but Tessa. As their search draws them deep into the heart of an arcane plot that threatens to destroy the Shadowhunters, Tessa realizes that she may need to choose between saving her brother and helping her new friends save the world...and that love may be the most dangerous magic of all.

Seems like I got some great books this week. Already read Amy & Roger's Epic Detour and loved it! :) I will probably read the library books next. But I am really excited to start The Reckoning and Going Too Far!
Also, I'm so behind in my posts! I have like 5 other entries I've been wanting to post. I don't know when I'll get around to doing them though because I have a lot of books I want to start reading. Sooo...looks like reading wins yet again. ;)

Twilight

Library:
Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Vol. 1 by Stephenie Meyer

Didn't really get anything this week, as you can see. Other than comics, I haven't been reading much lately. I've been pretty busy, so that's probably why I haven't been in a reading mood. The anime convention two week ago, my sister coming over from Japan this week, and in a few days my parents are taking us to Disney World for about a week. I've never been to Disney World. Hopefully it's fun! I think I would be way more excited if I were a kid; however, I'm glad I don't have to hang around my parents throughout the trip to do anything, you know? I can go wherever I want. ;)
Anyway, when we come back from this vacation, I'm definitely going to have to start looking for a job. I hope it doesn't take forever... lol And since I'll be away, probably won't have an IMM next week. I planned on making two other posts this week (about the convention & listing 25 things about me because I was tagged by Audrey), but like I said, I've been busy. I will work on those later! Hope you all have a great week. :)

Catching Fire Shadow Kiss HHC 4
Naruto 47 StS 4 StS 5

Library:
Catching Fire (Hunger Games, #2) by Suzanne Collins
Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy, #3) by Richelle Mead

Bought:
Happy Happy Clover, vol. 4 by Sayuri Tatsuyama
Naruto, vol. 47 by Masashi Kishimoto
Soul to Seoul, vol. 4 by Kim Jea Eun
Soul to Seoul, vol. 5 by Kim Jea Eun

My sister enjoyed The Hunger Games, so I checked out Catching Fire for her! She told me that she will draw fanart for THG. (YES!!) I'm not exactly sure what she plans on drawing, but she said that it won't be couple-related (so no Katniss/Peeta). I'm fine with that as long as she draws something! :D Also from the library, I got Shadow Kiss, which I really need to start reading because other folks have put it on request. ^^; As for the manga, I bought those at an anime convention I went to last weekend. I plan on making a post about the convention later. For now, I'll show the autograph I got in Naruto volume 47 from Kazuhiko Inoue, the Japanese voice actor of Kakashi in Naruto! :)
